I just read the L.A. Times article that Stephanie posted...Romney is an unbelievable hypocrite! He does not have the moral character to be president.

All this takes is some strong Googling from people. Pick a company or a fund in which Romney has invested, and do some googling to research issues like:

* outsourcing
* bad labor practices
* layoffs
* "bad products"
* Sudan investment

Just poke around, gang.

It's amusing to see that some companies in which Romney's assets are or were invested are FRENCH!

In waiving his salary as governor of Massachusetts, did he designate where the funds were to be redistributed? Did he also waive whatever benefits he might have been entitled to as a state employee? Did those include retirement/pesion contributions? If so, where is that money held and when can he qualify to receive it?

I see he was invested in many casinos but sold
those investments is that ok with his church? Also please check out CEMEX.

All of his assets are out of his control, except for cash and cash deposits. I think looking for conflicts of interest in his blind trust is a bit underhanded, since he doesn't have the ability to mitigate conflicts of interest by ordering his manager to sell assets creating a conflict.

One difference between Democrats and Republicans is that Democrats play fair. Democrats don't engage in the Swift-boating of blind trusts. If you're going to attack his assets, attack him for having so many assets that he is out of touch. Don't go fishing through things he has no control over. The length of that document is argument enough.

Perhaps the Mormon Church is using its members to work for him. Also, he is vacationing where the Marriot Hotel chain (the owners are Mormons) has a large resort in New Hampshire.

Diebold sticks out to me right off the bat from a quick skim.

After examining this it seems that Romney's had his hand in almost every big corporation. A lot of the stock has been sold and supposedly he doesn't know anything about his own portfolio anymore. Still the idea of Diebold being part of his portfolio is something to examine.

After googling Romney and Diebold what should pop out but this article. Ron Paul came in fifth place and Romney's people were manning malfunctioning Diebold machines. Is there a reason to check here?

investments not inconsistent with his years at Bain--He is a financial insider--Where will he be
on the issues facing the nation on sustainable
development and renewables? He has a total lack of understanding on the economic crisis facing the country.

i see NO SRI investments
i see sub-prime exposure
I see a tendency towards Globalization

He will be more of the same failed econometric

Romney took dividends from Ameristar Casinos, though he has sold those holdings. A review of the litigation surrounding this company turned up that one of its casinos was the meeting place for drug traffickers who appeared to be charged on the federal level. Is this the kind of company a presidential candidate should be involved with. Also, has anyone questioned his views on gambling?

The pdf download of Romney's financial disclosure form was posted upside down. Makes it a little hard to read.

I saw one blog that asked whether Romney's investments in Casinos were OK by his Church. I don't have anything against Mormons per se, just depends on how people perceive their own religious roles, like everybody else, and I don't have anything against Casinos, per se, except they tend to cause a cash transfer from the people who play there and to the people who invest there. But:
