So annoy the RNC and help us put this ad on the air. You can help fund it here.

Just a quick comment in response to Rev. Jeremiah Wright's speech to the Detroit chapter of the NAACP this weekend.
I think that the problem that some people are having with Rev. Wright is that he is confusing culture with race. His observations about culture are most insightful; his example, comparing the styles of the University of Michigan and Michigan State University marching bands to the styles of the Florida A&M and Grambling marching bands, is an apt one from a cultural perspective. His mistake comes when he says, "We just do it different." The problem lies in most peoples' interpretation of the implicit meaning of "We." Without taking too much of an assumptive leap, are we to understand that he means "black people?" If so, now he's talking about race, not culture. Herein lies the problem. The culture of the University of Michigan marching band is most definitely different from the culture of the Florida A&M marching band. I think however, that the many talented, young, african american members of the University of Michigan marching band might take umbrage with the notion that this difference is one dependent upon race! Cultures are transitional, race is not. This is the essence of what makes racism so divisive. Reverend Wright needs to take another small step forward and adopt the new paradigm that "race does not matter." He can then continue to advocate with validity, in his most inspiring, compelling, intelligent and articulate way, that we should learn to love and accept one another in spite of our cultural differences.

Michael,
Has the DNC gotten a response to the RNC charges? Man, their panties sure are in a twist. I noticed the usual "if we gore your ox, it's all in the game, but if you gore ours, we're going to whine and cry" Republic National Party pout. Nothing gets to them like their own words, apparently.
I also noticed the intentional jab in the fourth paragraph "Democrat" National Party. Clearly, they're desperate straights appealing to the bottom rung of their party.
DNC, stand your ground. We walking-around Americans with minds of our own are sick and tired of the Republic party's one-sided, petty, whining ways. They need to have their noses rubbed hard in the mess they've made for the last 30 years. Pin it on 'em and let 'em wear it home, see how they like that.

Holy African flies people, the RNC is accusing Dr. Dean of illegally killing them on Iraq! Tell me...where can I donate money for fly swatters to be passed out at the convention so Democrats can wave them along with flags?
O.K., I forced myself to read the GOP article from the DNC’s attached link above. I find out that the RNC is claiming that there was a whole speech between Senator McCain’s two statements saying that maybe we could be in Iraq for a hundred years and that would be fine with him? The problem with that RNC claim is that I saw CNN or MSNBC or both air the entire public interview when John McCain was asked about how long we would be in Iraq. Where John McCain said nothing more between saying maybe we could be in Iraq for one hundred years and then saying that would be fine with him...
So unless the RNC wants to take on MSNBC/CNN or both or want CNN and/or MSNBC to be DNC witnesses they better shut up and quit trying to spin illegal accusations that they have no intention of legally following through with.
(ILLEGAL - Would be exposing a CIA agent who may have once worked in Iraq to politically cover yourself from the CIA for your knowing what the agent and her husband may have known before the Iraq war. Having a cover plan that you’re office is simply exposing the agent out of neglect and stupidity then blaming your other party people you work for. However, then allowing Hussein’s same intelligence officers to work for the current government in Iraq, which would keep the CIA from going public with that possible truth to protect the institution and national security, would be just plain treason, wouldn’t it be?)
I get really ugly thoughts about the Iraq war...don’t go there RNC. Actually, the RNC shouldn‘t have gone there before or done something about it their selves for their party a long time ago.

Michael,
I don't just want to annoy them. I want to torment them and really cause them to run for the nearest rock and hide under it for a long time. The RNC is going down and going down hard.

African American voters in Indiana are feeling ignored because neither Senator Clinton or Senator Obama is paying attention to them.
The African American vote is going 90% or so to Senator Obama. So Senator Obama is taking them for granted and Senator Clinton doesn't think it will make any difference whatever efforts she puts in with them.
One thing that may change the dynamics is if the African American vote percentage for Senator Clinton gets into the 30-40% range in Indiana and North Carolina. That is the only way Democrats will focus on the African American vote and that is the only way African Americans will get the attention of the candidates. It is not as if African Americans hate the Clintons.
Watch Senator Obama's events; almost exclusively the people standing at his back are Caucasians. He knows he doesn't have to do anything to get 90% of the African American vote.

Oh SamSarma, Barack speaks for all the people that are/were want to be in the middle class. When he speaks all can go see him. It's not about color it's about the class warfare that the republicans have waged on the middle class. If one fits in that class, or below, they are his constituants.
