McCain Says No To GI Bill

Posted by Michael Link on April 15, 2008 at 12:37 PM

It's bipartisan legislation that would "greatly expand educational benefits for members of the military returning from Iraq and Afghanistan." But that didn't stop John McCain from coming out against the bill yesterday.

With a vote expected later this year, every vote is going to count on this one to make sure that these men and women get benefits they've more than earned.

McCain says we owe them a debt we can never repay. But that doesn't mean we shouldn't try.

Michael,

Please make sure that the DNC stores things like this aside for a couple months, and then, produce an ad right before the election that shows how Anti-troop the old fart really is!

What is the basis for McCain voting against this?

It's simple really, John McCain is nothing more than a right-wing nutjob who is also a sell-out and a hypocrite. We need to send John McCain to a nursing home where he belongs and keep him there.

You've got to do a commercial, DNC, showing how the repugs didn't want to vote for anything for our soldiers. Let the american people know, it is the dems that are the true patriots.
