Lorna Johnson



Lorna M. Johnson was appointed as Assistant Treasurer by DNC Chair, Tom Perez in the spring of 2017.

Lorna is a medical midwife, health expert and philanthropist. She started and runs the Advanced Family Care Medical Group in East Los Angeles, along with the non-profit organization Compassion for Teen Life. She was a top supporter of President Barack Obama and was appointed to the “President’s Advisory Committee on the Arts, The Kennedy Center.” Lorna hosted the African First Ladies while they were in the U.S. for the 2013 African First Ladies Health Summit in Los Angeles and she currently serves as Honorary Consul for Jamaica in Los Angeles.
