How to fix your mail ballot in Nevada

Your step-by-step guide to making sure your mail ballot counts in Nevada.

Thank you for being a Nevada voter and voting in this election! Many voters need to take an extra step to ensure their vote is accepted.

If there is an issue with your vote-by-mail ballot, your county clerk’s office or a campaign representative may contact you. You must take action by 5:00 PM on Tuesday, November 12 to make your vote count.

You can make your vote count in Nevada by taking one of the following actions:

Call the Clark County Clerk at 702-455-8683 from 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM Monday through Thursday to confirm your ID by providing the last 4 of your Social Security #, your Place of Birth, and your Date of Birth.

Reminder: Ask your Clark County Clerk about acceptable forms of ID to return with your affidavit.

Affidavit

Download, fill out, and sign an affidavit and return it by email or in-person. You must include a copy of your ID or the last 4 of your Social Security number, your place of birth, and your date of birth. Download an affidavit: democrats.org/nv-affidavit-clark.

You can cure online using your phone or computer. You will need to take a picture of an acceptable form of ID and submit at the link here.

Washoe County

Call the Washoe County Clerk at 775-328-3670 to confirm your identity by providing the last 4 of your Social Security #, your Place of Birth, and your Date of Birth.

Reminder: Ask your Washoe County Clerk about acceptable forms of ID and your Voter ID number to return with your affidavit.
