Ahead of Trump’s Visit to Central Ohio, DNC Unveils New Billboard Near Ohio Stadium Slamming Failed Pandemic Response

Billboard Will Run During Ohio State’s Season Opener Against Nebraska

Today, ahead of Donald Trump’s arrival in central Ohio, the Democratic National Committee unveiled a new billboard near Ohio Stadium, highlighting how Trump’s failed coronavirus response has hurt Ohio — leading to the deaths of more than 5,100 Ohioans and spiking hospitalizations.

The billboard, near the intersection of West Lane Avenue and Kenny Road, will reach drivers near Ohio Stadium and run throughout Saturday as Ohio State hosts its season-opening game against Nebraska.

“The fact that proud Buckeyes can’t gather together to celebrate the start of a new season is yet another reminder of Donald Trump’s failure to handle this pandemic,” said DNC Chair Tom Perez. “Working families in central Ohio and across the state have paid the price for his incompetence with their lives and their livelihoods. Trump can’t spin the chaos and broken promises of the last four years with another rally — Ohioans see right through it, and they know we can’t afford another day of his failed leadership. That’s why Ohioans are making their plan to vote and casting their ballots for Joe Biden.”
