DNC Announces Candidates Participating in Fifth Democratic Presidential Primary Debate on Nov. 20

Today, the DNC announced that 10 candidates have been invited to participate in the fifth Democratic presidential primary debate. Each candidate was invited based on qualification criteria agreed to by the DNC, MSNBC, and The Washington Post that was announced in September.

The fifth debate will take place on November 20 at Tyler Perry Studios in Atlanta, Georgia. The debate will be broadcast in primetime at 9 p.m. ET on MSNBC and will also stream for free on MSNBC.com and washingtonpost.com as well as across mobile devices via NBC News and The Washington Post’s mobile apps. In addition, audio of the debate will be available on SiriusXM Channel 118, and TuneIn.

The following candidates have been invited to participate in the fifth debate:

Mayor Pete Buttigieg

Rep. Tulsi Gabbard

Sen. Kamala Harris

Sen. Amy Klobuchar

Sen. Bernie Sanders

Mr. Tom Steyer

Sen. Elizabeth Warren

Mr. Andrew Yang
