In an interview with MSNBC’s Nicolle Wallace following President Biden and Vice President Harris’ remarks in Atlanta, Georgia, DNC Chair Jaime Harrison highlighted the importance of passing voting rights legislation, and why voting rights has to be the fight we all stand up for.
 

DNC Chair: This Has To Be The Fight We All Stand Up For

Chair Harrison: “We can’t go back. And I tell you – I will do everything in my power to make sure that my sons don’t have to live through the same things that my grandparents went through. This has to be the fight that we are all – Democrats, Republicans, and independents – that we all have to stand up for.  We can’t allow these Republicans to – just because they want power – to take away the fundamental thing that defines who we are as a nation.”
