In observance of Memorial Day, DNC Chair Ken Martin released the following statement:

“This Memorial Day, we reflect on the immeasurable sacrifices of American service members throughout our nation’s history. From the earliest patriots who fought in the Revolutionary War to the brave men and women who wear the uniform today, we recognize their service and forever remember those who lost their lives while protecting our freedoms. Today and every day, Democrats honor our fallen soldiers, sailors, and airmen, and remain committed to supporting service members and their families, caring for our veterans, and ensuring that we never forget the heroes who have defended our nation and our values for 250 years.”
