A new Columbia University study reveals the extent of Trump’s failed coronavirus response. If he had taken stronger actions, tens of thousands of lives could have been saved. And yet, Trump continues to lie about the coronavirus and still hasn’t made a plan to contain it, even as the pandemic worsens again.

A new study says that tens of thousands of deaths could have been avoided if it weren’t for Trump’s failed coronavirus response.

Trump continues to downplay and lie about the coronavirus even as every available piece of data shows the pandemic is getting worse, again.

TRUMP: “That pandemic is rounding the corner. They hate it when I say it. You turn onto this MSDNC and fake news CNN, all you hear is, ‘COVID, COVID, COVID, COVID, COVID, COVID, COVID, COVID.’ That’s all they put on, because they want to scare the hell out of everyone. The more testing you have, the more cases. They say, ‘Cases are up.’ Yeah, testing is up.”

Axios: “Every available piece of data proves it: The coronavirus pandemic is getting worse again, all across America.”

Over 23 million Americans are receiving some form of unemployment relief and more than 34 million are struggling to pay their basic expenses.

Washington Post’s Heather Long: “Over 23 million Americans are on unemployment aid.”

Bloomberg: “More than 34 million U.S. adults live in households that find it very difficult to pay for their usual expenses, according to government data that offer the latest evidence of how low-income and minority Americans are facing intense economic insecurity as the pandemic wears on.”

Hospitalizations are on the rise, hitting the highest point in two months and setting records in more than 10 states across the country.

Bloomberg: “U.S. hospitalizations for Covid-19 hit the highest point since Aug. 22, with New York doubling its count from early September and at least 10 other states reporting records.”
