As Trump Heads to Nebraska, DNC Launches Digital Ads Highlighting Trump Failure on COVID
October 27, 2020
Ahead of Donald Trump’s event in Nebraska today, the Democratic National Committee is launching Google display ads reaching voters in Omaha to remind them about Trump’s failed response to the coronavirus.
The ads will reach voters in and surrounding Trump’s events in Omaha with the message “This Administration Failed Us,” and will direct individuals to the DNC’s ad “Had Enough,” which highlights how Trump’s failure on coronavirus has cost American jobs and lives.
Ahead of the visit, Nebraska Dems are holding a press call with a local doctor to discuss how Trump’s failed coronavirus response has hurt Nebraskans, and how his attacks on health care are particularly devastating during a pandemic.
“The reality of Trump’s record in Nebraska is unavoidable: spiking COVID cases, manufacturing jobs decimated in a reckless trade war, and now, even during a pandemic, he is continuing to attack Nebraskan’s health care and protections for people with preexisting conditions,” said DNC Chair Tom Perez. “Nothing Trump will say today changes the fact that Nebraskans are sick and tired of his incompetence threatening their lives and livelihoods. And that’s why Nebraskans are holding Trump accountable by making their plan to participate in this election and voting him out of office.”
