Staunch anti-choice Republican Tim Scott is refusing to answer whether he supports the national abortion ban proposed by his fellow South Carolina Senator Lindsey Graham.
In response, DNC spokesperson Ammar Moussa released the following statement:
“Tim Scott is deliberately trying to avoid questions because he knows he can’t explain his extreme position of taking away a woman’s freedom to make her own health decisions. No matter how much he dodges in public, Scott has established his support for ending abortion across the country.”

Last month, Tim Scott spoke at a closed-door gala hosted by the extreme anti-choice group Susan B. Anthony Pro-Life America that calls to “end abortion” in America.
The Independent: “A handful of GOP lawmakers were guests of honour at an event hosted by Susan B. Anthony Pro-Life America, an anti-abortion nonprofit organisation named after the famous (and staunchly reglious) women’s rights activist. Among those who attended were both of South Carolina’s US senators, Tim Scott and Lindsey Graham.”
Despite touting his anti-abortion stance on Fox News, Scott has refused to say how far he’s willing to go to restrict reproductive rights.
