SHOT/CHASER: Trump – Who Endorsed “Outstanding” Mark Robinson as “MLK on Steroids” – Now Claims He’s “Not Familiar” With State of the Race

In response to Donald Trump trying to claim he’s “not familiar” with the campaign of a candidate he praised as an “outstanding person,” DNC Rapid Response Director Alex Floyd released the following statement:

“If Donald Trump really is struggling to remember a campaign with a candidate he praised as ‘an outstanding person’ who was ‘MLK on steroids,’ then that’s just another reason he should follow Vice President Harris’ lead and release his medical records as soon as possible. The fact is, Trump endorsed and campaigned for Mark Robinson because he knows they are two MAGA extremists cut from the same cloth – and voters deserve a lot better than either of them.”

SHOT: Trump previously endorsed self-proclaimed “Black Nazi” Mark Robinson as “outstanding” and “Martin Luther King on steroids” …

CNN: “‘I’m a black NAZI!’: NC GOP nominee for governor made dozens of disturbing comments on porn forum”

NBC News: “‘This is Martin Luther King on steroids,’ Trump said of Robinson at a pre-Super Tuesday rally in North Carolina.

Newsweek: “‘We have to cherish Mark … he’s like a fine wine,’ Trump said in the video. ‘He’s an outstanding person.’”

CHASER: …before today claiming that he is “not familiar with the race.”

Politico: “Asked by POLITICO at a campaign stop on Monday whether he would urge voters here to still support Mark Robinson, Trump declined to say either way.

“‘I’m not familiar with the state of the race right now,’ Trump told POLITICO as he prepared to step into the black SUV that would whisk him back to his private plane. ‘I haven’t seen it.’”

LIME: I mean…
