DEADLINE: One Day Until Donald Trump Is Forced to Release the Epstein Files

New reporting reveals how Trump and Epstein’s close relationship revolved around pursuing women in a game of “ego and dominance”

Tomorrow, Donald Trump and his Department of Justice face the deadline to release the Epstein Files — records that he and his buddies keep popping up in — after House Democrats and Republican defectors successfully forced a vote on the Epstein Files Transparency Act. Trump has spent the past year trying to block their release, repeatedly calling the files a “Democratic Hoax,” a “scam,” and “bullshit.”

In an interview with Vanity Fair released this week, Trump’s Chief of Staff Susie Wiles acknowledged, “We know he’s in the file,” adding that Trump “was on [Epstein’s] plane…he’s on the manifest.” Wiles described Trump and Epstein as “young, single, whatever—I know it’s a passé word but sort of young, single playboys together.” Wiles also criticized Attorney General Pam Bondi for her handling of the files, saying, “There is no client list, and it sure as hell wasn’t on her desk.”

In response, DNC Rapid Response Director Kendall Witmer released the following statement:

“With just one day to go, will Donald Trump release the full Epstein records and finally deliver accountability for Jeffrey Epstein’s victims and transparency for the American public — or will he continue to protect himself and his friends? Americans have waited long enough after Trump and his White House spent the past year engaged in a full-scale government cover-up to block their release — and they’re done waiting. Trump and his Department of Justice must follow through on their promises and release the FULL files tomorrow.”

New reporting today further confirms the depth of Trump and Epstein’s friendship, describing a bond “intense enough to leave others who knew them with the impression that they were each other’s closest friend.” According to the New York Times, their friendship revolved around being each other’s wingmen as they “pursued women in a game of ego and dominance,” where “female bodies were currency.” In one email released by Congress last month, Mr. Epstein even bragged that he “gave” Mr. Trump a 20-year-old woman.
