In response to Paige Cognetti’s election to the U.S. House of Representatives, DNC Chair Ken Martin released the following statement:
“Congratulations to Paige Cognetti, the Pennsylvania Democratic Party, and all of the organizers who worked around the clock to flip this seat from red to blue. As mayor of Scranton, Paige has fought hard to deliver for working families. In the House, she will be a consistent champion for lowering costs, expanding access to healthcare, standing up for workers, making housing and childcare more affordable, and investing in communities throughout the Keystone State.”
