In response to Amish Shah’s election to the U.S. House of Representatives, DNC Chair Ken Martin released the following statement:
“Congratulations to Dr. Amish Shah, the Arizona Democratic Party, and all of the organizers who flipped this seat from red to blue. As an emergency room physician and former member of the Arizona House of Representatives, Dr. Shah has a record of fighting and delivering for Arizonans. In the House of Representatives, Dr. Shah will work to lower costs for working families, protect Social Security and healthcare, and support public education.”
