In celebration of Diwali, DNC Chair Ken Martin released the following statement:
“This Diwali, more than one billion Hindus, Jains, Sikhs, Buddhists, and members of other faiths will come together to celebrate the Festival of Lights. We are reminded during this time that light reigns over darkness, and hope triumphs over despair. The Democratic Party wishes a safe Diwali filled with love and joy to all those who celebrate.”
