After reports that President Donald Trump’s Mar-A-Lago resort and the Trump National Golf Club, Jupiter have requested permission with the Department of Labor to hire additional foreign workers, DNC Deputy Communications Director Sabrina Singh issued the following statement:

“After making hiring American workers a consistent theme of his campaign and administration, even anointing this week as ‘Made In America’ week –the latest news out of Mar-A-Lago makes it clear that Donald Trump puts his business interests above everything else, including hard-working American families and workers. Trump’s properties claim there ‘aren’t enough Americans to hire’ – seriously? Instead of basking in hypocrisy, the Trump properties should be examples for the business community and create good-paying American jobs.”
