In response to HHS Secretary Tom Price saying that the Senate must aim for the “lowest common denominator” to keep ACA repeal alive, DNC deputy communications director Adrienne Watson released the following statement:

“Secretary Price just admitted the skinny repeal is a con bill.  It is just the latest shady ploy by Trump and Republicans to push deeply harmful legislation forward, all so that extremist Republicans can make it even worse.  Americans see right through Republicans’ underhanded tricks to strip millions of their coverage and increase out of pocket costs.”
