In response to the Trump administration’s removal of Title IX campus sexual assault guidance, DNC CEO Jess O’Connell released the following statement:

“Donald Trump and Betsy Devos’ lack of compassion for survivors of sexual assault is shameful and dangerous. The Title IX guidance has been critical for helping students understand their rights, and for helping administrators do their jobs effectively. While the Trump administration is turning its back on survivors and making it harder for students to stand up for their own civil rights, Democrats will continue working to prevent sexual assault and fighting for the rights, protections, and dignity survivors deserve.”
