Today, new reporting reveals that Donald Trump is set to host “the most exclusive dinner in the world” for the 185 biggest buyers of his $Trump meme coin. The top 29 customers will get to attend a “VIP Reception” with the president, and the four biggest patrons will also receive an 18-karat Trump-branded gold watch.
Since launching his “meme coin” in 2025, Trump has earned $635 million, while customers of his various crypto ventures have lost around $4.7 billion.
It’s no wonder a majority of Americans believe Trump and his family have inappropriately profited from crypto. The Trump family’s net worth has nearly doubled since the 2024 election to a whopping $10 billion, and Trump himself raked in at least $2 billion since returning to the White House — more than any other year.
While Trump rakes in millions of dollars, American households have had to spend an extra $4,200 on everyday essentials, including $310 more for groceries and an extra $833 on housing costs. The national average price of a gallon of gas has risen to a whopping $4.41, while diesel has spiked to $6.38 per gallon. A whopping 60% of voters say that Trump’s economic policies have made the economy worse, and the number of people who say that it’s hard to get a job right now has hit its highest point since early 2021.
