DNC Chair Tom Perez on November Jobs Report

After the U.S. Department of Labor released the latest jobs and unemployment numbers, DNC Chair and former Labor Secretary Tom Perez issued the following statement:

“With lower-than-expected job growth, more proposed tax cuts for the wealthy, and a never-ending assault on Americans’ access to health care, Donald Trump and Republicans have kicked working families to the curb. That’s why millions of voters took to the polls last month to elect Democrats up and down the ballot across the country. They sent a loud and clear message to this administration: Our leaders should fight for all of us, not just those who line their pockets.

“The new Democratic-led House will fight for good-paying jobs, protect people with pre-existing conditions, work to lower drug prices, and help build an economy that works for everyone.”
