ATLANTA – DNC Chair Tom Perez issued the following statement congratulating Delaware Senator-Elect Stephanie Hansen on her victory in the Tenth District:
“Congratulations to Senator-Elect Stephanie Hansen on her victory this evening. The Delaware Senate is gaining another progressive champion focused on expanding opportunity for all. With this critical victory, Democrats have retained control of the Delaware House, Senate, and Governor’s office, which is good news for hardworking families across the state. Democrats should celebrate tonight – and Republicans should take note. Americans are raising their voices to tell President Trump and every Republican that their values are not our values. They do not stand for us. The comeback starts tonight.”
