In response to Aaron Ford’s victory in Nevada’s gubernatorial election, DNC Chair Ken Martin released the following statement:
“Congratulations to Aaron Ford, the Nevada State Democratic Party, and all the organizers who worked tirelessly to make tonight’s victory possible while flipping this seat from red to blue. As a public school teacher, accomplished state senator, and dedicated attorney general, Aaron has always fought for the people while taking on special interests. As governor, he will fight to bring down the cost of groceries and utilities, expand access to healthcare and childcare, make housing more affordable, invest in public education, protect workers, create good-paying union jobs, and keep communities safe.”
