In response to Jamie Ager’s election to the U.S. House of Representatives, DNC Chair Ken Martin released the following statement:
“Congratulations to Jamie Ager, the North Carolina Democratic Party, and every organizer who helped flip this seat from red to blue. As a fourth-generation farmer and an entrepreneur, Jamie knows firsthand how desperate North Carolina families are for a leader who will put their needs first and work to improve their lives. In Congress, he will be the champion North Carolinians deserve while fighting to bring down costs, expand access to healthcare, make housing more affordable, invest in rural communities, support workers, and create good-paying jobs.”
