In response to Pia Dandiya’s election to the U.S. House of Representatives, DNC Chair Ken Martin released the following statement:
“Congratulations to Pia Dandiya, the Florida Democratic Party, and the organizers across the district who worked to deliver this important victory. As an educator and longtime leader in her community, Pia has dedicated herself to expanding opportunity and fighting for working families. She will take that fight to Congress where she will work to lower the cost of groceries, protect healthcare, and make housing more affordable for families throughout the Sunshine State.”
