Donald Trump’s disastrous agenda has driven prices through the roof, as working families struggle to make ends meet. Today, the DNC launched a targeted digital ad campaign airing on conservative YouTube channels during the RNC’s midterm convention.
The ad highlights Trump’s repeated comments dismissing Americans’ financial hardships that he and Republicans caused, including saying he doesn’t “think about Americans’ financial situations…even a little bit” and admitting, “I love the inflation.” Meanwhile, Democrats continue to talk to voters about the issues that matter most to them: lower costs, affordable healthcare, and accessible housing.
In response, DNC Chair Ken Martin released the following statement:
“Donald Trump and Republicans tanked the economy and drove up costs, and voters don’t need to look further than Trump’s own words to know where his priorities lie. Trump doesn’t care that prices have skyrocketed or that everyday Americans are struggling to afford gas, food, and medicine — he only cares about enriching himself and his wealthy donors. Democrats are committed to reaching all voters and earning their vote in November and beyond by focusing on lowering costs and making life more affordable for working families.”
