After Ethan Berkowitz was re-elected as Mayor of the Municipality of Anchorage, DNC Chairman Tom Perez released the following statement:
“Congratulations to Mayor Ethan Berkowitz on his re-election and showing what Democrats can accomplish when we organize and lead with our values. On Tuesday voters across Anchorage, in their very first entirely vote-by-mail election, voted to reject a divisive agenda that prioritizes special interests ahead of hardworking Anchorage families.”
“The DNC was proud to invest in the Alaska Democratic Party, through our historic State Party Innovation Fund (SPIF), to help expand their organizing capacity so that we can elect great Democrats up and down the ticket, like Ethan Berkowitz. I look forward to continue working with Mayor Berkowitz and Democrats across Alaska to keep fighting for working families and expand opportunities for all Americans.”
