In response to reports that former Trump campaign manager Steve Bannon has been indicted for fraud, DNC War Room senior spokesperson and adviser Lily Adams released the following statement:
“Steve Bannon joins the very long list of top Trump advisors who have either been indicted, charged, or convicted of a crime. It’s not a coincidence. Trump has surrounded himself with criminals and set an example that the law doesn’t apply to him. The American people don’t want a president who acts like a king or a dictator. They want leaders like Joe Biden and Kamala Harris who know that no one is above the law, not even the president of the United States.”
