In response to Mick Mulvaney reportedly pulling back from a full-scale probe into Equifax, DNC spokesperson Daniel Wessel released the following statement:
“Equifax failed to protect the personal data of over 100 million Americans, and now Trump’s administration is failing to hold them accountable. Instead of working to ensure it never happens again, Mulvaney continues to reward shady behavior and side with big corporations over the very consumers he is tasked with protecting.”
