DNC Chair Tom Perez released the following statement on Yom Kippur:
“Tonight, millions of Jewish families around the world will begin observing Yom Kippur, the holiest day on the Jewish calendar. Yom Kippur is an opportunity for both reflection and renewal, atonement and forgiveness. I’m wishing an easy and meaningful fast to all those observing. G’mar Chatimah Tovah.”
