DNC Statement on Hanukkah

As the first night of Hanukkah commences, DNC Chair Jaime Harrison and DNC Interfaith Council Co-Chairs Sarah Levin, Nadia Ahmad, and Johnnie Roebuck released the following statement:

“The story of Hanukkah is a story of strength and resilience. It is a story of hope. As we celebrate the beginning of the Jewish Festival of Lights, may we reflect on all that we’ve overcome, may we rededicate ourselves to fighting to build on our progress, and may we once again double down on hope. We wish a happy Hanukkah to all those celebrating, and hope the next eight days bring joy and happiness. Hanukkah Sameach!”
