In celebration of Nowruz, DNC Chair Jaime Harrison and DNC AAPI Caucus Chair Bel Leong-Hong released the following statement:
“As we commemorate the arrival of spring, we are delighted to join millions of people around the world in celebrating Nowruz. As friends and family come together during this time for reflection and renewal, it’s important to slow down, spend time with our loved ones, and reflect and acclaim our accomplishments and growth. As we celebrate the contributions of the Persian community around the country and give thanks for our blessings, we wish all who celebrate Nowruz a new year filled with joy, love, happiness, and stability. Eid-eh Shoma Mobarak!”
