DNC Statement on Rosh Hashanah

In commemoration of Rosh Hashanah, DNC Chair Jaime Harrison and Chair Dr. Carla Brailey and Chair Sarah Levin, co-chairs of the DNC’s Interfaith Council, released the following statement:

“The beauty of Rosh Hashanah is steeped in the promise and optimism of beginning the year anew and in taking a moment to reflect on how the journey of the previous year has fortified us to forge ahead in the spirit of tikkun olam, the repairing of the world. The bonds that unite Jewish Americans and the Democratic Party are crucial to realizing a sweeter and more just future for all, and in the spirit of the new year, we commit to deepening that bond further. L’shanah tovah u’metukah to all those celebrating Rosh Hashanah – may the new year bring renewed purpose and joy.”
