In celebration of Thanksgiving, DNC Chair Ken Martin released the following statement:
“Every Thanksgiving, we come together to express our gratitude and reflect on what we’re thankful for. As we spend time with friends, family, and community — sharing food, catching up, and watching football — we are reminded of what the American spirit truly is: hard-working, grateful, and strong. We take care of each other in tough times, like many are facing right now in this economy, and we show up for our neighbors. On behalf of the Democratic Party, we wish you a Happy Thanksgiving and hope you enjoy your time with your loved ones.”
