Mientras Donald Trump y el gobernador de Texas, Greg Abbott, se dirigen a la reunión anual de la NRA en Dallas, el director de medios hispanos del Comité Nacional Demócrata, Marco Frieri, emitió la siguiente declaración:

“Donald Trump y Greg Abbott una vez más están fraternizando con la NRA al mismo tiempo que impulsan una peligrosa agenda MAGA que antepone el lobby de las armas a la seguridad de nuestras comunidades. Mientras el presidente Biden trabajó con ambos partidos para promulgar la legislación bipartidista contra la violencia armada más importante en décadas, Trump y Abbott se han arrodillado ante la NRA en todo momento y han criticado repetidamente las reformas bipartidistas. El pueblo estadounidense está harto de la agenda apacible y desconectada de los republicanos MAGA que permite que las armas lleguen a manos de delincuentes en lugar de hacer  más seguro a los  más seguro a los Estados Unidos”.

Al igual que Donald Trump, Greg Abbott también ha antepuesto el lobby de las armas por encima de la seguridad de nuestras comunidades.
