After last night’s historic defeat of the Republican Party in the midterm elections, JD Vance has finally broken his silence.
In response, DNC Communications Director Rosemary Boeglin released the following statement:
“Only days ago, JD Vance was defending his and Donald Trump’s war with Iran and claiming they’ve made good on their promises. Now he’s pretending to have an awakening about how disastrous the Trump-Vance agenda has been. Vance started this deadly, costly war with Trump. If Vance has felt this way all along, why didn’t he speak out forcefully? Why didn’t he resign? And most importantly, why didn’t he stand up for Americans? Because Vance will always do what’s most politically convenient for him in the moment — even if it means throwing Americans under the bus. Vance owns this administration’s failures.”
