Bipartisan Support Grows, Overwhelming Majority Of Americans Support Biden’s American Rescue Plan

An overwhelming majority of Americans approve of the job President Biden is doing and support his coronavirus relief plan, which also has growing bipartisan support. It’s clear why: Biden is putting the American people first and his plan will help contain the virus and deliver much needed relief to families and communities across the country.

An overwhelming majority of Americans approve of the job President Biden is doing and support his coronavirus relief plan.

Quinnipiac Poll: “Nearly 7 in 10 Americans support the Biden administration’s proposed $1.9 trillion stimulus relief bill in response to the coronavirus pandemic, as 68 percent say they support it and 24 percent oppose it.”

Associated Press: “Overall, 61% approve of Biden’s handling of his job in his first days in office, according to a new poll from The Associated Press-NORC Center for Public Affairs Research.”

Bipartisan support for Biden’s plan continues to grow with even Republicans agreeing that we need to go big to save our communities.

West Virginia Republican Governor Jim Justice: “We need to go big or not go. … If we waste some money, but our nation recovers … so what.”

Mayors Rick Kriseman and Francis Suarez: “We mayors — a Democrat in St. Petersburg and a Republican in Miami — need President Biden’s American Rescue Plan to save our communities”

President Biden’s plan is even more popular among Republicans than Mitch McConnell is.

Bloomberg’s Conor Sen: “*Among Republicans*, the $1.9 fiscal package is more popular (37%-47%) than Mitch McConnell is (31%-51%)”
