DNC Congratulates Dr. Annie Andrews on Her Victory in South Carolina’s Democratic Primary for U.S. Senate

The DNC congratulates Dr. Annie Andrews on winning tonight’s Democratic primary for U.S. Senate.

While Republican politicians become more extreme, Democrats are connecting with voters on the issues that matter most: lowering costs, protecting healthcare, and building a more affordable South Carolina.

In response to Dr. Annie Andrews’ victory, DNC Chair Ken Martin released the following statement:

“As a pediatrician who has spent nearly two decades caring for South Carolina’s children, Dr. Annie Andrews is running for Senate because she has seen firsthand how our kids’ wellbeing is impacted by those in elected office. In the Senate, Dr. Andrews will fight for safer communities, affordable healthcare, and more opportunities for South Carolina’s working families. The DNC is ready to help organize and mobilize voters to ensure South Carolinians elect a leader who will stand up for them in the Senate.”
