“I am saddened to hear of the passing of Secretary Madeleine Albright. Secretary Albright epitomized strength, dignity, and courage. During her time as secretary of state, she gave the world a master class on diplomacy and always put our nation and our democracy first. She was a trailblazer and her legacy will live on in the brilliant, talented women who continue to represent the United States on the world stage. My thoughts and prayers are with her family as we mourn the loss of an American icon. She will truly be missed.”
