“That fateful morning, nineteen years ago, changed the course of history and set forth a new era in diplomacy and warfare. September 11th is a somber day when we all can wrap our arms around each other in support and love. It is a day when true heroes are memorialized: from first responders, to airline passengers, to the military, to so many more. Americans sacrificed of themselves that day by simply doing what needed to be done. This September 11th, the DNC’s Veterans and Military Families Council salutes those who have served since that fateful day, and those families who lost loved ones.”
