As 2024 Republicans head to the Iowa State Fair this week and next, Minnesota Governor Tim Walz and Iowa Democratic Party Chair Rita Hart held a press conference on the first day of the Iowa State Fair to contrast 2024 Republicans’ MAGA agenda with President Biden and Democrats’ record of success. The DNC also launched a new two-week billboard campaign in Des Moines blasting the MAGA 2024 agenda.

President Biden traveled out West this week and stopped in Utah to commemorate the one-year anniversary of the PACT Act – the most significant expansion of health care access for combat veterans suffering from toxic burn pit exposure – and celebrate the bipartisan effort it took to deliver this critical care for veterans and their families.

President Biden established a new national monument near the Grand Canyon National Park to protect the area from uranium mining and honor the ancestral homeland of 12 Native American tribes.
