Trump’s MAGA Veepstakes: Ben Carson Wants to Ban Abortion Nationwide With Zero Exceptions
June 21, 2024
As Trump VP contender Ben Carson speaks at the Faith and Freedom Coalition conference in Washington, D.C., DNC Spokesperson Aida Ross released the following statement:
“MAGA VP contender Ben Carson — who compared abortion to slavery — would ban abortion nationwide with no exceptions for rape or incest if given the chance. Carson will do whatever it takes to help Donald Trump push the most extreme anti-choice agenda possible, but the American people will keep rejecting their MAGA crusade to rip away reproductive freedom.”
Trump VP contender Ben Carson supports a national abortion ban with no exceptions for rape or incest and has compared abortion to slavery.

Trump: “For 54 years they were trying to get Roe v. Wade terminated, and I did it, and I’m proud to have done it. … Nobody else was going to get that done but me, and we did it, and we did something that was a miracle.”
Trump: “After 50 years of failure, with nobody coming even close, I was able to kill Roe v. Wade, much to the ‘shock’ of everyone … Without me there would be no 6 weeks, 10 weeks, 15 weeks, or whatever is finally agreed to. Without me the pro Life movement would have just kept losing. Thank you President TRUMP!!!”
