WATCH: Doodle Don Continues to Melt Down Over Epstein

First, Donald Trump denied that he was briefed that his name is in the Epstein files. Then, he ran away after it came out that his name is in fact in the files — and he knew about it. Now, Doodler-in-Chief Trump is doubling down on his remarks about pardoning Jeffrey Epstein’s chief accomplice and convicted sex trafficker Ghislaine Maxwell, while desperately trying to spin this scandal as a “good issue” for him. Trump can try and spin this until he’s blue in the face, but the American people know the truth — Trump and his administration are covering up the truth about Epstein and playing footsie with his partner in crime.

WATCH: Donald Trump refuses to rule out a pardon for Epstein’s chief accomplice Ghislaine Maxwell and continues to claim he has the “power” to grant her freedom.

Reporter: “Mr. President, you wouldn’t completely rule out a pardon for Ghislaine Maxwell when you landed. Is that something you would ever consider and why? …”

Trump: Well, I’m allowed to give her a pardon …”

WATCH: Trump — who called for the release of Epstein files — couldn’t answer why his name is in the files, and is now claiming the files are fake.

Reporter: “But you have said that you have not been briefed on the Epstein files, but— or your name has not appeared in the Epstein files, but doesn’t the AG have to tell you if your name is in—

Trump: “Well, I haven’t been overly interested in it, you know, it’s something, it’s a hoax that’s been built up way beyond proportion. … Now, they can easily put something in the files that’s a phony … The whole thing was a fake. They can put things in the file that are fake, but those files were run by bad, sick people.”

WATCH: In a desperate attempt to deny he sent Epstein a birthday card with personally-drawn graphic images, Trump claimed he “doesn’t do drawings” — despite having done many drawings

Trump: “I don’t do drawings. I’m not a drawing person. I don’t do drawings.”

WATCH: Trump desperately tried to spin his long friendship with pedophile Jeffrey Epstein as a “good issue,” falsely claiming his poll numbers went up.

  • Trump: “They say it’s a good issue for Trump. Do you know that my poll numbers are up 4.5 points since this ridiculous Epstein stuff? My poll numbers have gone up 4.5 points because people don’t buy it.”
  • 89% of Americans think the Department of Justice should release all the full Epstein files.
  • Only 13% think the government has been open and transparent about the Jeffrey Epstein case, while more than five times as many, 67%, disagree – including 60% of Republicans and 56% of MAGA supporters.
  • 68% of Democrats, 66% of Republicans, and 69% of unaffiliated voters reject the idea that the Epstein case is closed.
