Tonight, ahead of President Biden’s visit to the Port of Baltimore, the DNC welcomed him with a projection highlighting his once-in-a-generation Bipartisan Infrastructure Deal and what it means for the American people.
| “President Biden promised that he would roll up his sleeves and get to work for the American people, and that’s exactly what he’s doing,” said DNC spokesperson Allyson Bayless. “While Republicans are busy yelling at Big Bird and pushing an extreme, anti-science agenda, President Biden and Democrats have demonstrated yet again that they’re laser focused on delivering results for American workers and families.” In fewer than 10 months, President Biden delivered a transformational infrastructure deal that Donald Trump tried and failed to achieve for four years. It is a historic investment that will create good-paying jobs, grow our economy, modernize and shore up critical supply chains, ensure every American has access to affordable high-speed internet, and deliver safe drinking water for our children and families. The projection is part of the DNC’s ongoing efforts to make sure every American knows that when it mattered most, Democrats stepped up and delivered results. |
