SHOT/CHASER: 2023 Nikki Haley, Meet 2021 Nikki Haley

Nikki Haley is flip-flopping on her record once again — promising to support Donald Trump if he becomes the Republican presidential nominee despite suggesting the GOP would move on without him — and saying that we “can’t let that ever happen again” — just two years prior.

SHOT: In 2021, Haley had harsh words for Trump.

Politico: “‘We need to acknowledge he let us down,’ she said. ‘He went down a path he shouldn’t have, and we shouldn’t have followed him, and we shouldn’t have listened to him. And we can’t let that ever happen again.’”

CHASER: Today, Haley had no problem saying she would support Trump if he wins the 2024 Republican nomination.

Kernen: “Would you support [Trump] if he gets the nomination?

Haley: “I would support him.”
