Today, Donald Trump gave his final speech before the midterm elections, making his closing argument to voters about how out-of-touch he and Republicans are with everyday Americans. Trump spent most of his speech bragging about the pet projects he’s spent hundreds of millions of taxpayer dollars on, even showing demonstrations.
It couldn’t be more clear: Trump and JD Vance are focused on anything except helping working families who are struggling with high costs on gas, groceries, and healthcare because of their disastrous agenda. Trump has used his presidency to spend hundreds of millions of taxpayer dollars on vanity projects and hand out massive tax cuts and special favors to the wealthy and well-connected as Trump, his kids, and his administration officials line their pockets.

“For the last two years, working families, farmers, and small business owners have been forced to dip into their savings or take on debt just to afford gas, groceries, and healthcare, while Donald Trump dedicates his focus — and taxpayer dollars — to his vanity projects and special favors for the ultra-rich. Now, the bill is coming due: Americans are sick of paying the price for the Republican agenda while Trump, JD Vance, and Republicans turn their backs on them. Democrats are ready to lower costs, root out corruption, end the chaos, and hold Trump and his rubber-stamp Republicans accountable.”
