Kellyanne Conway tried to spin Trump’s flip-flop on masks. Ignoring months of Trump refusing to wear a mask and downplaying their effectiveness, Conway claimed “we have additional studies” that now prove masks prevent the spread of COVID.
Despite Conway’s spin, the CDC recommended more than three months ago that Americans wear masks in public and studies have shown for months that masks can dramatically slow the spread.
Even Fox News wasn’t buying it. If Trump had acted sooner, we’d have fewer cases and deaths.
