With Two Days Until The Midterms, Trump Hosts Lavish Halloween Party With “The Biggest Guys On Wall Street”

This weekend, Donald Trump hosted a lavish, jungle-themed Halloween party at Mar-a-Lago with his “rich members” and “the biggest guys on Wall Street.” As everyday Americans struggle to fill up at the pump and put food on the table, Trump and his wealthy and well-connected donors dined on Alaskan king crab and caviar, while Trump bragged that “the country has never done better.”

Trump and JD Vance’s war with Iran has already cost consumers $265 BILLION — about $2,000 per household — including an additional $1,100 on fuel and energy costs alone. Americans have paid an additional $142 billion on gas and diesel since Trump and Vance started their war, and the U.S. is on track to have the most expensive Election Day gas and diesel prices in history.

REMINDER: Just last week, Trump admitted, “I don’t give a damn” about Americans who criticize high gas prices because “we’re making a freaking fortune.”

In response, DNC Deputy Communications Director Kendall Witmer released the following statement:

“Two days before the midterms, Donald Trump’s closing message to Americans is the same as it’s always been: ‘Let them eat cake.’ Trump’s reckless tariffs and deadly and costly war with Iran drove prices on everything from gas to groceries through the roof, and what is Trump doing? Rolling out the red carpet for ultra-rich elites while he doubles down on his price-spiking policies. Americans are tired of being ignored while Trump puts himself and his donors first — and this week, voters are going to send Republicans packing.”

It’s no wonder nearly 70% of Americans disapprove of Trump’s handling of the cost of living, and only 1 in 10 Americans believe Trump is focused “a lot” on people like them.
