WASHINGTON – DNC Chair Debbie Wasserman Schultz issued the following statement on Senate Republicans' unwillingness to address gun violence:

“It is unconscionable that Senate Republicans — even in the face of a tragic hate crime and act of domestic terrorism where dozens were brutally murdered —  remain unwilling to address gun violence. This is a serious issue that plagues every one of our communities, big and small, all across this country. The American people are calling out for leadership and Democrats in Congress and the next Democratic President will make sure their voices are heard.”
